Drury Lane Bar by Lima Architects Inc

Project Description

The Drury Lane Theater, located in Burlington ON, is a venue that has been serving this community for many years. The whole place needs some upgrades, however the Owner decided to start with the existing bar located adjacent to the main performing stage. Lima Architects was retained to design a new bar that would be more attractive and modern for today’s standards. Lima opted for a more rustic and natural theme with mostly wood looking materials, specially with the use of reclaimed wood barn boards used at the wall behind the shelves. The black exposed ceiling and the LED light strips compliment the overall desired look. The result is a stunning blend of contemporary architecture by Lima Architects and rustic charm, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. This design not only enhances the bar’s functionality but also elevates the overall aesthetic experience of the theater. As guests gather to enjoy performances, they will appreciate the thoughtful integration of modern elements with a nod to the venue’s heritage.

Implementing a proper drainage system and ensuring the landscape directs water away from your foundation can significantly minimize risks. Additionally, regularly inspecting gutters and downspouts will help in maintaining a dry basement environment.
