Zeina Homes is a well-established home developer, especially in the Hamilton area. Zeina retained Lima Architects to design a showcase home for one of their subdivision lots in Hamilton, ON. The intent was to make this house stand out and inspire the other upcoming houses in the surrounding lots. This breathtaking home was carefully and meticulously designed with constant input from the client. The lot has a pie shape which dictated the building massing. The large windows allow for great views of the landscaping.

Objective

Developer Zeina Homes commissioned a flagship home on a subdivision lot meant to set the design tone for the homes to follow on surrounding lots.

Design Approach

Designed in close collaboration with the client; the irregular pie-shaped lot drove a bespoke massing strategy, with large windows framing the landscaping.
