The Louth Residential is a new 4-storey purpose-built rental building located at 143 Louth Street in St. Catharines, Ontario. Designed to provide high-quality rental housing in a contemporary urban form, the project introduces 30 residential units with ground-floor commercial space that contributes to an active street presence.
The building’s architectural expression combines natural stone, composite aluminum panels, generous glazing, and recessed balconies to create a clean, modern façade with strong curb appeal. The material palette was selected to balance durability, visual interest, and long-term value, while giving the development a refined identity within the surrounding neighbourhood.
The client’s goal was to create an attractive rental property that would appeal to upscale residents seeking modern living in a convenient St. Catharines location. Lima Architects Inc. provided architectural services for a design that supports both residential comfort and commercial visibility, resulting in a mixed-use rental development with a distinctive contemporary character.
