Lima Architects Inc. is a design-oriented architecture firm that is committed to excellence in custom architecture and design for residential, commercial and corporate projects. We combine rigorous design with construction management experience. The company was established in Burlington, ON in 2013. Before forming Lima Architects Inc., the principal of the firm, Fernando Lima, was an architect working for another firm for 10 years being the project leader for many projects. In addition to Fernando Lima, the firm’s team includes Architectural Technologist, Interior designers and Graphic designer. We also work in collaboration with a high-quality team of consultants that includes structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape and civil. After its formation, Lima Architects has been fortunate to work on many types of projects that include: Multi-Unit Residential, Custom Homes (new construction and renovations), Office and Retail Buildings (new construction and renovations), Institutional Renovations and Additions.
Our method of working is highly participatory, with clients, engineers and specialist consultants all contributing from the beginning of a project and throughout the design process. Our approach to design is not strictly conventional and involves the use of 3D models to help test and develop our proposed design concepts. We also believe that the design process may have different directions and that it requires architects to think and draw until the best possible outcome is reached, considering each finished detail in the development of the overall design.

Fernando Lima is an architect with broad experience in residential, commercial and institutional projects. Before forming Lima Architects Inc., Fernando worked for an award-winning architectural firm. Fernando brings all the experience and new ideas to the firm. Fernando believes good architecture is achieved when aesthetic pleasing forms meet function.
Rose is an OAA Intern Architect. She is creative and enthusiastic person and has exceptional skills in turning general ideas into technical drawings. She loves both residential and commercial projects. Her designs create spaces that integrate balance with sophistication, encompassing unique settings.
Mark has graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a communications degree & Sheridan College with a diploma in Architectural Technology. He has joined Lima Architects with experience in many different sectors while bringing innovative and unique technical design solutions to the workplace. His passion for Architecture and creativity compliments to the quality of his work
Vitor Lima is responsible for IT Management, Web Development, Online Marketing and for Architectural Design as well. With more than 15 years of experience, he brings the mix of technology innovation, marketing and design to our team.
Renata graduated from Sheridan College. She has joined Lima Architects as the lynchpin of the Firm. Renata heads all major projects alongside the Architect. Her exceptional 3D modelling and interior design are what make Lima Architects quality and services so sought after.
Victoria King – Interior Designer – Willowhill Designs Victoria has more than 30 years experience in the field of design. Her love of creating , strong design sense and training led her to, a corporate interior design and marketing position with a major Canadian retailer, as well as interior designing for several large home builders
Glynn King – Project Manager- Willowhill Designs Glynn has more than 30 years experience in corporate design and planning for both commercial and residential design projects. He manages with strong communication and project coordination skills.
Daniel graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Architectural Science and is an aspiring future architect. He is passionate about his work, applying his knowledge in building design and construction while working with clients to realize their projects. The quality and ingenuity of his work show throughout all phases of the project.
Lima Architects has been so far the best experience yet. Fernando has been so patient with my wife as she designed the house with him. When you call them you either get them right away or within a half an hour. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

My wife and I met with Fernando of Lima Architects as we were looking to add an addition to our house. He came across as a man that would listen to what our plans were and provide us with a design that we would be happy with.
Fernando provided us, in a timely manner, the drawings and more then met with our expectations of what our house would become. He always responded to calls and emails and answered our questions promptly.
Lima Architects were also instrumental in the approval proccess in getting the minor variances approved and the permits from the city.
We would highly recommend Lima Architects to any one that is about to undergo any renovations.
